Polemica is a London School of Economics (LSE) student-run political magazine dealing with the contemporary events of the Emerging Markets.

Polemica’s aim is to provide a platform for the exchange of student opinions about recent EM affairs. This both empowers young voices – a demography whose original views are often unheard in policymaking – while simultaneously supplying up-to-date information on recent developments in the continent.

Polemica is a place for critical thinking. We take advantage of our unique position at the LSE to foster a lively debate between politically minded people. What we are most interested in is to have an open discussion. In line with this philosophy, we do not endorse any particular vision.

Some of our authors are fictionalised – a tool to stress different ideological positions that we think will enrich the debate.

In addition to the online magazine, Polemica publishes a monthly print edition. It contains a selection of the most interesting articles received in that period of time as well as a purely informative chronology of the EM events that have taken place until then.
